It does decent damage and it is safe against a lot of characters in the game. In addition, they spam the complete shit out of f4u3 if given the chance and will use it for offense, anti air or just as a neutral tool. However, some Sindel players think everything is too easy sometimes and may get angsty and spam scream as a do it all move, which can get severely punished if it is not amplified and the right spacing, and the Whip and flip after poke or almost even randomly in the neutral.
SINDEL MORTAL KOMBAT 9 HOW TO
Sindel is a well designed character, she uses a lot of her tool kit and is one of the few characters that have a lot of options in terms of how to approach matches and have solutions to most situations in the game (Except geras, just turn off your console at that point basically). Sub-Zero got the slide, but basically anyone that can punish a not so well spaced scream or the f4u3 string has a really good chance.įighting Sindel is a test of absolute patience, as strong as MK11 gives you. I would say tho that Buzz Saw Lao has a good chance as Sindel does not have much to move if well measured certain attacks, Scorpions Reborn variation is the best you can use as teleport will miss A LOT against anything Sindel does if you do it on reaction. So about the matchups, I already mentioned my mains, but this is one of the very very few situations I straight up counterpick, as her space and moves are too much to deal with.

Banshee dash is a really good move in the right hands, in good spacing Sindel's, a confirm of this can start her offense and demands respect even in the neutral.

Another good loadout that has gained more traction are those based on Banshee Dash, be it with deadly echo or not. It is pretty fast by itself, can avoid projectiles in neutral, it does good standalone damage and it is a pain in the ass to deal after a poke, as you can never forget about it. This one is a really complete variation as it guarantees almost a win in any sort of long distance battle, Low star screamer is a magnificent projectile for almost any situation, Banshe Barrage makes her jumps a lot more scary than what they usually are and Whip and Flip is maybe the most annoying neutral tool she has. Her best loadout IMO is the low Star Screamer, the Banshee Barrage and the Whip and flip. PD: If you have any advice into how to beat her I would appreciate it. I will say what I think is her best/Most common loadout so I can breakdown the MU. The threat of the Scream KB coupled with the long range normals and the myriad of options makes fighting her with these 3 characters a complete pain. High level Sindels have really good spacing, even with her overused moves. This time I won't do that much of a general analysis as all three characters suffer from the same thing. In this instance I don't have that much of insight as Sindel is not a really common character in my region, and I am glad for it since for Scorpion/Lao/Sheeva, she is a real pain to face, Let’s keep this discussion about playing the game, and how everyone can get better at doing so. That means we’re not going to talk about “this character is so hot”, “character xyz is for scrubs”, memes, things like that. Any and all shitposting will be removed from this thread, as the purpose of a weekly thread is for players to discuss the character and their matchups. Is she best in Kombat League, or is she a tournament viable character?ĭisclaimer This thread is intended for discussions about competitive play. What’s a move that players often overuse/abuse with her? If you do main her, what are your go-to bnb’s?

How do you feel about your main’s matchup against her in Kombat League? All discussions will be archived and viewable (as soon as I can get into setting that all up in the Wiki). As always, if you have questions about this week's character, or just looking to see strategies from other players who main her, this thread is your source.
